Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• ½ cup (8 Tbsp) unsalted butter, softened

• 1 cup brown sugar

• 1 egg

• 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract.

• ⅓ cup cocoa powder

• 1 cup flour

• ½ tsp baking soda

• ½ tsp salt

• 1 cup chocolate chips

Cooking Steps

Make Dough

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Cream together ½ cup butter and ⅓ cup brown sugar in a large bowl. Whisk in 1 egg and 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract until combined. Next, mix in ½ tsp baking soda, ⅓ cup cocoa powder, ½ tsp salt and 1 cup flour. 

Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips. 

Bake

Onto a lined cookie sheet, drop the dough by spoonfuls (about 1 Tbsp) or by a cookie scoop, about 2 in (5 cm) apart. 

Bake at 350°F for 9 min or until the edges look crispy. 

Allow to cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet before serving to set. Enjoy!
