No-Yeast Mini Soft Baked Pretzels

Salty, Sweet, or Savory–whatever your desire is, these mini no-yeast soft baked pretzels will deliver. Using pantry staples and some Greek yogurt, you can have soft-baked pretzels in half the amount of time as traditional pretzel recipes. Customize these to your taste and have the treat of your dreams! 

Total Time: 30-40 min.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup greek yogurt

  • ½ cup + 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp +¼ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp kosher salt 

  • 1 ½ Tbsp melted butter

Toppings: kosher salt, cinnamon & sugar, etc.

Servings: 4

Cooking Steps

Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet. 

Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine flour, greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth and the dough forms a soft ball. 

Knead Dough

On a well-floured surface, dust the top of the dough with flour. Knead the dough a few times and then form it into a smooth ball. Let the dough rest for at least 15 mins (to help with shaping). 

Cut + Roll Dough

Cut the dough into 4 equal-sized pieces. 

Roll each piece into a long log, about 10 in-12 in. 

Form into Pretzel

Form each log into a pretzel shape by taking 1 end at a time and pulling it towards the center. Transfer the pretzels onto a lined baking sheet. 

Bake Pretzels

Brush the tops of the pretzels with about half of the melted butter and bake in the oven for about 10 mins. 

Remove from the oven and brush the tops of the pretzels with the remaining melted butter. Sprinkle toppings on pretzels as desired, such as kosher salt or cinnamon & sugar. 

Return to the oven and bake for 10-12 mins, until cooked through and golden brown. Serve!
