Orange Butter Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 large orange, juiced and zested

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 ½ cups flour

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 sticks (16 Tbsp.) unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 ½ tsp. baking powder

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients and beat together with a spatula until well combined. 

Bake

Grease a 9x9 pan. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 40-50 min., or until a tester comes out clean. Let the cake cool for about 10 min. before transferring it to a wire rack to cool. 

Serve or enjoy with powdered sugar dusted on top!
