Vegan Brown Gravy

Servings: 2 cups or 470 ml

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. flour

  • 2 Tbsp. avocado or olive oil

  • ½ Tbsp. or 1 ½ tsp soy sauce

  • 1 ½ cups vegetable broth (350 ml) 

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Cooking Steps

Make Flour & Oil Mixture

In a small pot over medium heat, mix together 2 Tbsp. flour, 2 Tbsp. avocado oil, and ½ tsp garlic powder until smooth. 

Add Broth

To the pot, add 1 ½ cups of vegetable broth, ½ Tbsp. soy sauce, ½ tsp onion powder, and salt & pepper, to taste. Turn the heat up and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, constantly stirring. Stir for about 10 minutes, or until at desired thickness.
