Air-Fryer Salmon Patties

Ingredients

  • 2 cans canned salmon (5oz)

  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs

  • ¼ tsp cumin

  • ¼ tsp cayenne 

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 red onion

  • Salt & pepper

Cooking Steps

Prep

Finely dice 1 red onion and place into a medium bowl. Preheat the air-fryer (varies by machine). Spray the air-fryer basket with nonstick spray. 

Make Salmon Mixture

Add 2 cans of canned salmon to the bowl. Break the salmon into small pieces with a spoon. Pour in ½ cup panko bread crumbs and stir. 

Add 2 eggs to the bowl and mix until combined. Season the mixture with ¼ tsp cumin, ¼ tsp cayenne, and salt & pepper. 

Make Patties

Form the salmon mixture into patties by hand/with a spoon. Transfer patties to a plate.

Air-Fry

To the preheated air-fryer, add salmon patties into the basket of the air-fryer. Spray the tops of the patties with olive oil or another cooking spray. 

Set the temperature to 380°F and cook for 10 min. Flip the salmon patties and cook at 380°F for another 5 min. Remove and serve!
