By: Gill Renée

Have you ever wanted to try an American-classic but are lacking a campfire? Well, look no further. So long to the fire-roasted marshmallow treat that requires you to camp, and hello to the new-age s’more. For this baked s’more all you need is an oven, no sticks required. Also, with this recipe I took it up a notch and made a chocolate ganache filling so that this dessert Is just that more decadent. Even though there is no campfire, the marshmallows will be toasty from the oven. If you don’t believe me, try it out and see! If you do believe me…well…try the recipe out and tell me what you think down below!

For Crust- Two-Ingredient Graham Cracker Crust recipe

- To speed up this recipe, I would recommend buying a premade graham cracker crust, however, you can make your own like I did. Here is my Two-Ingredient graham cracker crust recipe.

- I only had flax milk on hand for this recipe, however, you can use regular milk or even heavy cream.

Cooking Steps

Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Make Chocolate Filling

In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add ½ cup chocolate chips and 1 Tbsp. milk. Microwave in 30 second intervals until chocolate is completely melted, stirring in between. Alternatively, you can melt chocolate over the stove in a pan.

Assemble

To a graham cracker crust, add in chocolate filling. Spread out 2/3 cup marshmallows evenly on top of chocolate filling. Bake in preheated oven for about 4-5 minutes, until marshmallows are toasted. If you want a campfire roasted marshmallow look, put the s’mores under the broiler setting (low) on your oven for 30 seconds-60 seconds.

Serve.
