Easy Apple Oatmeal

Ingredients

- 1 apple

- 1 serving oatmeal, cooked

- ½ Tbsp coconut oil 

- ½ tsp cinnamon

- 2-3 Tbsp water

- ½ Tbsp brown sugar

Cooking Steps

Prep

Finely dice an apple, removing the core. Heat a pan over medium heat with ½ Tbsp of coconut oil.

Cook Apples

Once the oil is fully melted, add in the diced apple. Heat for 3 minutes or until the apple is slightly softened, stirring occasionally. 

Add ½ tsp cinnamon and stir for 30 seconds, then add 2-3 Tbsp. water. Cook for 2 minutes to further soften the apples. 

Finish 

Once some of the water has dissipated and the apples are soft, place ½ Tbsp brown sugar into the apple mixture. Cook on medium-low heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, make 1 serving of instant oatmeal.

Remove apples from heat. Top the oatmeal with the apples. Enjoy!
