How to Cook Salmon from Frozen

Total Time: 25-30 min

Ingredients

  • 2–6oz salmon fillets

  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil, divided

  • 2 tsp cajun seasoning, divided

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Optional: 1 tsp cayenne pepper, divided

Cooking Steps

Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prep Salmon

Spray an oven-proof dish with nonstick spray. Place frozen salmon fillets in the dish and drizzle 1 Tbsp olive oil evenly over both fillets. 

Season

Evenly divide 2 tsp cajun seasoning and 1 tsp cayenne pepper. Season to taste with salt & pepper. Cover with aluminum foil. 

Bake Salmon

Place salmon in the preheated oven. Bake while covered for 15 min. Next, remove foil and bake for an additional 8 min. Once tender, remove from the oven and serve.
