Chocolate Rice Crispy Treats

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter (40g)

  • 10 oz bag Marshmallows (300g)

  • 6 cups chocolate (cocoa) rice cereal (330g)

Cooking Steps

  1. Line a 13x9 pan with parchment paper or coat with cooking spray.

  2. In a large pot melt butter over low heat. 

  3. Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted.

  4. Add chocolate rice cereal and stir until well coated. 

  5. Press mixture into the prepared pan evenly. 

  6. Let cool and then cut into squares. 

The crispy rice treats taste best the same day but can be kept at room temp for 2 days or in the fridge for 5.
