How to Make Oat Milk

Servings: about 2 cups

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • 2 cups of cold water

Optional:

  • 1 of pinch salt

  • ½ -1 tsp vanilla extract

Cooking Steps

Blend Oats

Add ½ cup rolled oats, 2 cups cold water, and optional ingredients into a blender. Blend for roughly 30 seconds, making sure to not over blend as it could result in a bad texture. Speckles in the oat milk are normal.

Strain Milk

Strain the oat milk using a cheesecloth or something similar over a large bowl. Strain again to ensure that most of the solids are removed. Store oat milk in a sealed container. Stir or shake before serving. Enjoy!
