How to Make Self-Rising Flour

For every cup of self-rising flour, be sure to measure carefully for accuracy. The recipe below is for 1 cup of self-rising flour.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour, leveled

  • 1 ½ tsp. baking powder

  • ¼ tsp. kosher salt*

*Kosher salt is recommended; however, if you don’t have it on hand don’t fret. Just use any salt you have.

Cooking Steps

Mix Ingredients

Level 1 cup all-purpose flour and place it into a bowl. Add in 1½ tsp. baking powder and ¼ tsp. kosher salt to the flour. Whisk to combine.
